Application Engineer

The Application Engineer is a key player in our efforts to facilitate and drive the sales of 3D printers. We are looking for candidates who are dynamic, highly motivated, proactive, team players and have excellent communication skills. You need to work with the Sales team to execute and deliver a healthy lead generation program, driving qualified leads into the sales pipeline.

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop a strong knowledge of our products and services in order to facilitate the sales process.
Assist Sales team during Technical discussions to suggest the right technology and material.
Identify customer challenges with 3d Printing and articulate information about our value proposition to potential customers.
Understand how the benefits of our products and services can meet customer’s needs in various business verticals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target accounts.
Assess and analyse a prospects current process and requirements and conduct product demonstrations, and meetings to showcase the value.
Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft and Google’s applications.

Skill Set Required:

Practical knowledge of Additive (3D printing, DMLS, SLA, MJF), Subtractive (CNC) and Formative (Vacuum Casting, Injection Moulding) manufacturing.
Business-minded technology thinker and problem solver.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to consultatively sell to clients.
Strong ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into business value for clients.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and services.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
