Formlabs Engineering Resins are formulated to withstand extensive testing and perform under stress. Tough 2000 Resin is the strongest and stiffest material in our functional family of Tough and Durable Resins.
It is the perfect material of choice for highly stressed prototypes like fixtures and jigs, snap-fit parts, or objects that should not bend easily (like PEZ candy dispensers). It is perfect for strong and stiff prototypes, jigs and fixtures requiring minimal deflection. It simulates the strength and stiffness of ABS.
The “2000” in the name represents the material’s tensile modulus. Tough 2000 Resin is a reformulation of our popular Tough Resin and offers more advanced mechanical properties and a new look.
Supports Print Resolutions: 100 and 50 microns.
Post-curing: Required.
Requires Resin Tank LT for Form 2.
Requires Form 3 Resin Tank V2 for Form 3.
Notice: Form 3 Resin Tank V1 is incompatible with Rigid, Grey Pro, Elastic, and Tough 2000 Resins. There are two versions of the Form 3 Resin Tank: Tank V1 and Tank V2.
