Business Manager

As a Business Manager at Imaginarium, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our Rapid business. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the vertical, including strategic planning, business development, client relationships, and team management. Your goal will be to establish our firm as a leader in providing innovative engineering solutions using additive manufacturing technologies.

Role & Responsibilities:

1 Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision and business plan for Rapid vertical.
  • Identify new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to drive growth and expansion.
  • Set ambitious sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Working on new business set up and process improvement initiatives as per requirement from time to time.

2. Business Development:

  • Lead the identification, pursuit, and acquisition of new clients and projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns.

3. Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution and delivery of engineering projects within the vertical.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues or risks, and implement necessary corrective actions.

4. Team Management:

  • Train and manage a high-performing team of engineers and technical professionals.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Propose performance improvement strategies for implementation.

5. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and advancements in additive manufacturing and engineering solutions.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for product/service improvement and differentiation.

6. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for Rapid business.
  • Monitor financial performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient operational processes.

Skill Set Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven 8-12 years of experience in business management, preferably within the consulting, additive manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in business development, client acquisition, and sales growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive and execute business plans effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business success.
