Sales Manager

We’re searching for candidates with a penchant for sales, technical communication, and customer success! This is a phenomenal role for an engineering graduate with some sales experience and a confident outgoing personality looking for a long-term career development role.

Role & Responsibilities:

As our Sales Ninja, you'll be qualifying, nurturing, and closing leads generated by outbound sales, funnel development and marketing.

  • This will require both empathy and process know-how of Imaginarium’s advanced manufacturing services. In this role you'll be provided with an opportunity to learn about Industry 4.0 essential technologies like 3D Printing, CNC Machining and other advanced manufacturing concepts to help (and close!) all incoming requests to the best of your abilities.
  • The role requires a highly likeable individual with an innate ability to get on with everyone all levels; from the shop floor of an industrial client to a Purchase Manager across industries; designer of the next generation transportation vehicles to mission critical national defense forces, and everything in-between.
  • Some knowledge of using 3D printing machines, CNC or rapid prototyping machines, Injection Moulding as part of your past work experience or assignments, together with knowledge of CAD software like Solid works, Fusion 360 or equivalent industry standard packages.
  • One of the key highlights for this role would be the opportunity to work with a variety of industries including aviation, aerospace, automotive, defense, medical, mainstream manufacturing and general product design.

Skill Set Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
  • Experience – 5+ yrs.
  • Consultative sales/solution selling approach
  • An interest in manufacturing and technology
  • A highly organized way of working – comfortable in multi-tasking
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (MS Office, CRM software, Project Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral + written communication skills

Bonus to have:


  • Master’s degree in engineering/Business Administration
  • Previous experience in working with advanced manufacturing technologies like CNC, Sheet Metal and
    Injection Molding
  • Previous assignments with Rapid Prototyping/Design Engineering/ New Product Development projects
  • Consumer level/client facing experience
